Families at Orrell
At Orrell Park it is our heart to help people of all ages to follow Jesus.
Children and Church family life.
We believe that children are very much a part of our church family life and community. In our church, children of all ages are loved, cared for, listened to and heard, and encouraged towards enjoying God in the Lord Jesus.
Joining us on a Sunday you can be assured your children will experience a safe, age-appropriate environment where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. All our Junior church leaders are DBS-checked and love Jesus with their lives.
Creche room: For parents and babies
We have a small room in the main hall for parents with Babies. You are able to watch and listen to the service while you care for your child.
Tot’s Church
All children start off in the main service and will be invited to leave with the leaders at a point in the service. Feel free to pop in with your children to meet the leaders and help your child to settle. We would always encourage you to return to the main hall once they are comfortable.
All the children start with some songs, prayer and fun. After a short time together, the toddlers will go into their own room, listen to a short Bible story, do small crafts, play or sing.
Junior Church
Once the toddlers have gone, Junior church will have a talk from the Bible and will break into smaller groups to learn, and apply what they have heard. This will be done in creative and exciting activities such as play, art and crafts.
The leaders will bring your child back to your before the end of the service.

All our children will be offered a small snack and drink. If your child has any dietary restrictions, please let the leaders know. If you have any questions before you come, please do get in touch.
